Siya ay nakasuot ng itim na bestida na lagpas tuhod, ang pula niyang takong ay napakataas at ang mukha niya ay mayroong palamuti. Dahan-dahan siyang pumwesto sa harap ng kamera ng may ngiti sa kanyang mapulang labi. Sa bawat tunog ng kamera, nag-iiba ang kanyang angulo at ekspresyon. Ang mga mata niya ay punong-puno ng damdamin at tila ba napakalalim.

“Itingala mo ang iyong ulo.” Utos sa kanya na agad naman niyang sinunod. Itiningala niya ang kanyang ulo habang ang kanyang labi ay may malokong ngiti at mga mata na matapang na nakatingin sa kamera. “Mahusay!” Puri sa kanya at agad naman siyang yumuko bilang pasalamat.

“Magpahinga muna kayo saglit.” Pagtapos niyang marinig ang anunsyo, napag-isipan niyang magpahinga dahil pagod din siya sa trabaho niya kagabi. Habang naglalakad pabalik sa kanyang puwesto, nakita niya ang kaibigan niyang si Madeleine at binigyan niya ito ng malokomg kindat.

Eksaktong pagbalik niya sa kanyang upuan, may binalita sa TV. “Isang kilalang influencer ay patay dahil sa limang saksak ngunit hindi pa rin alam kung sino ang gumawa nito- ngunit, nag-iwan ito ng sulat na isaiah.” Ang pilyong ngiti ay unti-unting nabuo sa kanyang mapulang labi habang ang babae sa harapan niya ay unti-unting namutla,

“Hindi ba ikaw ‘yon?” Tanong nito at agad siyang natawa dahil bakas ang takot sa boses nito. “Paano nga kapag ako?” Tugon niya at binigyan ito ng matamis na ngiti.
